Holy Cross senior Jacob Thomson moved up to #3 in the latest MileSplit US Top 25 this week after winning the Trinity Invitational.
MileSplit US has released their weekly National Girls Team and Individual Rankings for this week.
Trinity Invitational…. Wow words can’t really describe how amazing and competitive this meet was. First off I would like to congratulate one of my best friends Jacob Thomson on his win, and another good friend of mine Bailey Davis on her win also. These two are great runners but they are also two of the most humble people I have met.
Saturday was a perfect day to run. It wasn't too hot, with a bit of a breeze and, unlike at Rumble, the sun was shining. Tom Sawyer Park is a familiar course for most of us on the Assumption Team. We have our practices there every Sunday and most of us have run the course (or at least part of it) many times.
On Saturday, our team ran a very tough race. We ran at the Trinity/Valkyrie Meet up in Louisville. I have to admit, every meet you go to there is going to be some tough competition, but not like this one.
